• The above results were achieved by trading QQQ options according to our QQQ signals. Trades are entered at the market opening; trade signals are posted on our site the day before.
• The percent growth figure in the table above represents a summary rate of return, not a compounded return. We do not calculate compounded rates of return since we do not want to encourage traders to invest all of their capital in options. We encourage you to invest only a small portion of your assets in options – an amount that will fit your personal trading needs and risk tolerance. In our opinion, that amount should be about 10% of your total portfolio; it should never exceed 30%.
• Only option trades with an expiration date of at least 2 to 3 months were taken, because we do not want to encourage you to invest your money into risky (shorter-term) option plays that have a high risk of expiring worthless.
• As the call strike, we take the highest strike price that is in the money at the moment a trade is opened. As the put strike, we take the lowest strike price that is in the money at the moment a trade is opened.
• The results shown do not include brokerage commissions, taxes, or interest earned on cash positions.
• All our results since the 06/2003 are 'real-time' results. All prior results are back-tested results.
